Ben Solomon

"Somewhere between Stravinsky and the Beatles"is how James Shenton of the Balenescu Quartet descibed Ben's music.Seeing no clear distinction between what is regarded Classical or Popular -Ben plays with the listener's expectations of a solo piano album.A genre neglected by most classical composers and left to die in the "New Age"movement's clutches.Ben seeks to reawaken the art of music in its purest form.
Ben Solomons pieces-"One Way Day" and "End Of Summer"were published in "Pianist" magazine last year. This the first time the magazine has twice published work by a living composer.

His third piano album "My Winters Summer"will be released in the autumn .

"Mad Hatter Days is available on ITunes and other download sites or from CDBaby."Torrington Haze"can be brought on this site or through "latest records"website.

He studies classical piano under Peter Wild but has had no formal training in composition.
